The Epic version of the Codex includes the Hero, Career, Character Traits, and Ammunition and Weapon Traits for the Hero. It also includes the following special rules:
In the Martial Tradition - All Heroes and Careers gain a Martial Tradition if they have a Martial Primary Skill.
Gain Proficiency in Crafting - All Heroes gain the Crafting Profession.
Gain Proficiency in Salvaging - All Heroes gain the Salvaging Profession.
Automatic Access to Additional Vehicles - Heroes have access to any vehicle that their Profession can repair.
Heroes and Careers gain Traits - Heroes gain Traits, and Careers gain the Gaining Traits Profession.
Boosted Stats - All Heroes and Careers get boosted stats.
Listed below is a list of Guanxi modifiers that can be applied to Traits. Some Traits will have multiple Guanxi modifiers and will be listed in the order that they appear. Guanxi modifiers will be covered in more detail once we have a clearer picture on how they work. Traits with >1 modifiers will be listed separately, for example, Yue Yan's Linear trait will have both Commends Physical Strength and Commends Physical Ability modifiers.
In addition, Wizards are always given the 'Talent' trait of Knowledgeable if they are of the form 'Wizard, Valorous'. If your character is of this form, you should be using all the traits you can for the character. If not, you can check the other races for the trait Talent of Knowledgeable.
The first thing you should know about the Total War: Warhammer II is that there is no classic settlement mechanic this time around. Instead, the game lets you place up to three settlements during the campaign. Each settlement will have a city and a castle.
The new traits and conditions may appear dry to players that have always played ROME II as a game of war. At the same time, these changes will improve the game experience of those that have been wondering why their characters had those traits when they were recruited. 827ec27edc
