i have a zen vision:m (which is the newer version of the zen vision with the improved battery) and i have the same issue. the battery charge drops low rather quickly. i use the battery while its charging from morning and through the day and the battery dies at a very low level in the evening around 5pm. i have used it on other players and it has far more battery life. i am going to go buy a new battery tomorrow and see if that helps. maybe i should buy the zen vision:m again. this time with the hope that it will last longer with it since i have a zen vision:m (which has the newer battery) and then a zen vision:w (which has the older battery).
To install a driver with Device Manager:
Find the device that the new driver is associated with in Device Manager.
Right-click on it and choose Update Driver.
Follow the wizard.
If you are running into issues related to your computer and the driver, the DriverGuide is a great resource. We will help you figure out what driver is failing and maybe even find the correct driver for you.
Even though we work hard to keep this list up to date, you should still verify your driver version via the manufacturer's website. It's always better to double check than to install a faulty driver.
for the vision m, i had the old vision:m and it was a awesome reliable player. although i moved on to a ipod video 60gb i do miss being able to play avi/divx videos. The vision:w does look a bit too big though. For nothappy you can use windows media player to copy the files over.
about your battery, for my zen vision m, i used to have it plugged in, and chargin while i used it on home speakerss andhtinks, if you keep things charging, or just plugged in while its finished charging for a long time, the battery life goes down, so my zen m used to have a 14 hour bat life, and now it has about a 8, so you might just want a new battery. though, ithink that creative should make a battery like they did for the vision, where its extended time. 827ec27edc
